With ABC San Diego

We’re partnering with ABC San Diego to bring an interactive networking event designed to strengthen relationships between General Contractors and Subcontractors while highlighting the collaborative culture of our construction community.

This event will feature a structured, speed-dating-style networking format, allowing subcontractors and general contractors to connect through focused, meaningful conversations.

The structured speed-networking portion of this event, from 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM, is intended for subcontractors only. All are welcome to join us beginning at 12:45 PM for lunch and open forum networking through 2:00 PM.

Schedule:

11:00 AM - 11:15 AM: Arrival & Opening Remarks
11:15 AM - 12:45 PM: Speed Networking - Subcontractors Only
12:45 PM - 2:00 PM: Lunch & Open Networking - Open to Everyone

What to expect:

• General Contractors serving as rotating discussion leaders

  • Bernards, BNB Builders, Burger Construction, Clark Construction, Dempsey Construction, DPR, Level 10, Lusardi Construction, W. E. O'Neil Construction, & Wu & Associates

• Small-group conversations with approximately 10 participants per GC

• 8–9 timed rotations to maximize exposure and relationship-building

• A dedicated block for intentional networking following the structured sessions

Each rotation will focus on:

• How GCs and subcontractors can build stronger working relationships

• What GCs look for in trusted trade partners

• How collaboration supports quality, safety, and project success

• Ways ABCSD culture supports long-term industry growth

California Sheet Metal is a leading sheet metal contractor serving Southern California, specializing in general sheet metal, aluminum panels, and ornamental metal fabrication. Based in San Diego for over 100 years, they partner with architects, owners, and contractors to deliver high-quality commercial and public works projects. Come check them out and get a tour of their shop!

This design-build project began in 2020 and continues into 2030+, showcasing complex logistics and a long-term vision in action.

Jobsite Tour With Lusardi

Join the Women’s Construction Coalition for an exclusive jobsite tour of the Lusardi Construction Coronado Ferry Landing.

The elevated coastal restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating with sweeping panoramic views of the San Diego Bay. COAR Design Group will be present to give the architect’s perspective.
